The purpose of the seminar is to create chances for mathematicians from Japan and Vietnam to exchange their newest results, especially to stimulate young researchers in the field of commutative algebra. The 5th Joint Seminar will take place in Hanoi during 5 days, from January 5-9, 2010. In addition to the presentations of participants on the research results, two experts in the field of commutative algebra, professors Shiro Goto and Ngo Viet Trung, will give two series of lectures introducing some important research topics of commutative algebra. There are 28 Japanese and 42 Vietnamese mathematicians, who already registered to attend the 5th Joint Seminar. Mathematicians, who interested in this seminar, can go on to register.
