ONLINE COMPETITION

Each year, concurrently with our November Tournament, we run an Online Tournament with the same problems, on the same day; this year, the tournament will take place on November 9, 2013.
We calculate results and inform proctors of their students' performances relative to all the other Online competitors-students are not directly compared with competitors at our onsite Tournament, and a complete summary of results is not released.

General Information
The Harvard-MIT Mathematics Online Tournament is a remote version of the contest organized for teams and individuals that could not attend the Cambridge tournament due to space or distance limitations. Results of the online tournament will be sent out to all participants after the answers have been graded.

Registration
To register for the competition, please fill out [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] using the email of your proctor. You may register at any point prior to 9 AM ET, November 9, 2013; after that time, please email us directly at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] if you are interested in participating.

Schedule and Administration
We require that any team competing in our Online Tournament be located in the same physical location. Additionally, each team and individual must have a proctor, who will ensure that all rules are followed, start and end all tests, and grade all tests after the rounds are complete. One person may serve as proctor for more than one team, but they must all be located in the same place. The online tournament should be administered by an adult proctor, who will email in answers for all the students at the end of administration. Shortly before the first round is posted online, we will email proctors with a link to the tests. We will post the tests online at the location of that link at the times specified below. Please note that all answers are due by email by 9 PM ET, November 9, 2013; teams may determine the exact times that they would like to take the rounds, but should leave ample time to be able to submit by then. Hằng năm, Harvard và MIT tổ chức 1 cuộc thi (tournament) dành cho học sinh THPT (học sinh THCS vẫn có thêm tham gia nếu muốn) tại Harvard hoặc MIT. Song song với đó, họ cũng tổ chức Online Tournament để mọi học sinh ở mọi nơi có thể tham gia. Mỗi trường lập ra 1 hoặc nhiều đội, mỗi đội tối thiểu gồm có 4 thành viên cùng với 1 người có trách nhiệm quản lí (chủ nhiệm). Sẽ có phần thi đồng đội và phần thi cá nhân.
Hạn chót đăng kí 9 AM ET, 11/9/2013 (21 giờ ngày 9/11/2013 ở Việt Nam).
